F252 (2008). HRTEM determination of the crystal structure of C60/trimethylbenzene composite nanowires.

Exceptionally long C60 nanowires, with a length to width aspect ratio as long as 3000, were grown from a 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene solution of C60. The 1D nanowires are very sensitive to electron beam.
